Where are you located?
You’ll find SALZI in Vienna’s II. District, in the heart of Karmeliterviertel, between Karmeliter Markt and the Donaukanal.
If you get lost, just follow the smell of freshly ground coffee and herbs.
Do you have vegan and gluten-free options?
Yes! Our menu focuses mostly on plant-based, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and we always offer several gluten-free and sugar-free options. Read more about our suppliers.
Is your menu available for takeaway?
From sandwiches and chia puddings to salad bowls and seasonal plates, everything can be packed to go. You’ll also find freshly prepared wraps, sweets and drinks in the fridge near the bar if you are really in a rush. Perfect for an office lunch, a quick bite or a picnic by the Donaukanal.

Can I work or study at SALZI?
A calm space makes deep work easier and we’re here for it. From Monday to Thursday, laptops are welcome. If you see the place filling up quickly and you can, please give space for more unrushed meals and conversation.
On weekends, we shift fully into slow dining mode. From Friday to Saturday, we prefer SALZI to be laptop free.
Are you child-friendly?
SALZI is for all ages. We’ve got healthy, kid-friendly food and drinks, plus plenty of little details for curious explorers, like a special SALZI coloring sheet.
Is SALZI pet-friendly?
Very much so. Bring your furry friend, we usually have a water bowl ready, and if not, just ask.
