Behind it, a group of friends who love to travel and explore the world always on the catch for culinary delights. During traveling together our mission was formed to bring food and drinks based on natural ingredients combined with international influences to a next level.

​With our new concept SALZI we intend to create a new wave neighborhood joint for people inside and outside of the neighborhood. Where people come to wake up their body, their mind and their soul with healthy, vegetable heavy comfort food, homemade ferments, specialty coffee and tea based drinks, natural wine, provoking ideas and good conversations. Creating an uplifting ambience focused on urban gardening and music, for everyone who is looking for a daily pinch, as a wake up call to find beauty in things and the beauty of living in every moment.

Our mission is to change people´s minds what coffee and tea could be and introduce a wide variety of drinks where coffee and tea serve as a base to form new creations.

Our passion for exceptional coffee and tea has inspired us to collaborate with renowned coffee roasters to create the most flavorful roasts and blends and to put together a wide selection of tea rarities from all around the world ensuring each selection is ethically sourced and exceeds fair trade standards.

Besides our coffee and tea based drinks you will find a selection of our homemade healthy juices, smoothies, ferments and even a range of natural wines that can be paired with our ever changing small plate dinner concept.

We are committed to providing a unique food experience in Vienna, focusing on healthy ingredients embedded in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Our vibrant, seasonal menu offers a variety of flavors, from mostly plant-based vegan plates to some dishes including products of animal origin, all prepared with quality organic ingredients from local producers. Each dish is designed to be delicious while using resources consciously.
We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner - it is your decision if you want to stay with us and enjoy it right here or prefer to take it away for a little boost during your office hours or pair it with a beautiful sunset right on the banks of the Danube Canal.

We devote ourselves to combine culinary creativity with sustainable urban self-cultivation. We grow our own wide variety of herbs, which we process either fresh or dried and incorporate into our kitchen and bar, and also several types of fruits and vegetables, which we also integrate in some daily dishes.
95% of all the plants that you’ll find indoors and outdoors on our terrace are edible - and if you would like to try something right off the plant in its raw natural form, we offer you a small sample.
Enjoy creative dishes with fresh greenery, but also experience how modern gastronomy and urban gardening go hand in hand. We intent to create a place for everyone who loves good food and drinks- and wants to help shape the future.

Q
Where are you located?
You’ll find us serving specialty coffee and healthy comfort food in the 2. District of Vienna, in the heart of Karmeliterviertel, in between Donaukanal and Karmeliter Markt.
If you get lost, just follow the scent of freshly ground roasted coffee and herbs.
Our kitchen is open MON - FRI from 7:30 to 11:00 to enjoy your breakfast and favourite morning drinks right away with us or take it away. From 11:00 to 15:00 we serve our healthy comfort bowls to provide you with lots of energy for the rest of the day. From 15:00 we serve munchies best to be paired with a drink to round off your day. While stocks last, we also provide our lunch dishes until 18:00 for boosters in the afternoon or early evenings.
On Fridays and Saturdays we are open until 23:00 and also serve dinner. Every Saturday we offer a special brunch from 9:00 until 14:00 that is best shared.
Do you offer vegan and gluten-free options?
We’ve got plenty of plant-based dishes and gluten-free goodies.
Can I work/study here?
We offer a handful of seats for those who need to get some work done.
Are you child-friendly?
Of course! We offer yummy treats also for all the little ones. Besides healthy kid-friendly food and drinks, there is also always plenty to experience.
Are pets allowed?
